  1. Bill Says:

Nearly 7 years? It’s been more like 7 1/2 years.

  2. Gabe Campas Says:

I guess IF the rumors are true I will not be purchasing a xbox720, what if my internet gets disconnected for paying late? or what if I travel somewhere and that place has no internet connection lol. Microsoft better rethink that part of the xbox. It seems like it will not compete with the sonny playstation if that’s the case.

  3. Joey Says:

yea , if it has to be connect to the internet to play I will not buy one or three like now. my internet connection goes off from no fault of my own. now I cant play my $500.00 system. better listen to us MS.

  4. XBOX Tech Says:

Really? you don’t pay your bill on time and you blame Microsoft. Lame dude! Really LAME

  5. XBOX Tech Says:

Guess Detroit saying your car needs gas to run is gonna keep you from buying a car also. You gotta pay to play…..People like you need to go to PS or WII.

  6. Darrell Says:

XBOX Tech… that is not a very smart analogy!! Gas to a car is ELECTRICITY to an XBOX, not internet?!?! If you want to use your car analogy, what XBOX is doing is like saying, you have to have Satellite radio or your car won’t run!!

I don’t agree with this myself – some people don’t use XBOX live and just like to play on a closed system in their home with friends and certainly some parents won’t let their kids have Xbox live… I really think they are boxing out a large audience with this decision if it is true.

  7. Killmore101 Says:

XBOX Tech: You completely missed the boat on the point being made in the comments. I don’t even think you are reading them in their entirety.

  8. darknismon Says:

If you need internet to play whats the point some people don’t have internet and like Darrell said some kids can’t have xbox live and some people like to play with just friends at home.

  9. Jeff Says:

Don’t forget the people who live in the country. I live on 400 acres and can ONLY get satellite for my internet. Xbox live will NOT work with satellite (too many packets lost in the transfer to and from)!
