Seen in context, Asus' 701 debut back in late 2007 was a very bold move, and to a large extent I think that if you want to know what a netbook really is, go back and take a look at the first range of eee pcs. It seems like the netbook market is now becoming so gourmet as to walk the line between netbook and notebook. While I don't personally agree with paying upwards of US$600 for a netbook, I think that the popularity of these little machines can't be disputed. M I second that Christian.
