The Chicago-based service provider currently offers coverage in 24 states, but unlike many of its similarly sized competitors, the carrier takes after companies like Verizon Wireless when it comes to plans. Minutes and data ( starting at $30/month) are put into separate packages, though prepaid plans offer unlimited voice, data, and web access. U.S. Cellular also offers a single 3G mobile broadband package at $49.95 per month with a 5GB data cap.
