Verizon Wireless Pushes Slacker Radio to all BlackBerry Storm Owners
July 16th, 2009 by Todd Haselton
On Verizon Wireless with a BlackBerry Storm? Today that carrier announced that it would begin pushing down the Slacker application to all Storm owners. If you haven’t used Slacker for BlackBerry before, it’s about time that you do. The free streaming radio service lets you play your favorite stations, and even cache music to (any) BlackBerry for listening when you’re outside of data coverage, like on an airplane. Slacker’s new partnership with Verizon Wireless means that customers can also purchase songs directly from the application through Verizon Wireless V Cast Music with Rhapsody Store (tracks cost about $1.99 each).
