Verizon Will Not Announce BlackBerry Storm Tomorrow
The on-top-of-everything-cell-phone-related Boy Genius Report published a post over the weekend about an internal Verizon Wireless e-mail. Boy Genius Report is speculating that the “exciting news,” referred to in the internal message is the launch of the BlackBerry Storm (formerly thought to be the Thunder).
According to the post:
Verizon will tentatively launch - http://www.verizonwireless.com/storm- on September 15th, followed by the actual product launch on 11-1-08.
We are hearing quite a different story. According to our sources, Verizon will not be making such an announcement yet (or tomorrow). Also if you are wondering who the Mike is in the internal message it is Mike Lanman, the vice president and chief marketing officer for Verizon Wireless. For all we know, Verizon could be announcing that the Verizon guy is starring in a new ad campaign.
Update: Engadget has now has a Verizon internal document that shows off the Storm’s specs.

I am very unhappy with my blackberry service with Altel, I drop calls and well can’t get service.
For the cost I would like to check into getting an Iphone, but since that is not an option at this point I may cancel and go with AT&T.

Same as the new AT&T Microcell but it has only the details. It will come soon. Interesting thing is its support 3G.

Guys - Is it true that Google’s rankings have been cracked? I read on CNET that http://VerifiedFile.com has pissed off Google & Yahoo with some crazy method to stealing on the top ranks.
