Verizon Gives Free Mobile Hotspot Access for Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus

Great news for you road warriors who need mobile Internet access. Verizon has just announced that if you purchase or upgrade to a Palm Pre Plus or Pixi Plus, you’ll get free mobile hotspot access via your device. How great is that? And if you’re an existing customer, your bill next month will show a big, fat zero next to your mobile hotspot item. New and current customers get equal tethering love.
Sure, it might eat up your battery and maybe it could cause your handset to heat up every now and then, but this is too good a deal to pass up if you’ve been considering Verizon or the webOS bandwagon. Add to that $49.99 for a Pre Plus or $29.99 for the Pixi Plus, both with the buy-one-get-one free option, and the temptation will be harder to fight!

The Palm Pre Plus is an awesome phone as is. For $49 and free mobile hot spot I don’t see how you can pass it up. The only downside is the battery life and the free hot spot may not be free forever. With an extended battery it is definitely in the top phone out today. By far the best for the money.
