Tune in Live: Holiday Shopping Webcast
November 24th, 2008 by Dana Wollman [UPDATE: The webcast happened, and it was great. Couldn't tune in? Watch what you missed below.]
The official start of the holiday shopping season might be Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, but many retailers have already begun slashing prices. So, even if you were planning on spending less this year, you can still nab some hot products at reasonable prices. The bottom line is that in shifty economic times we get a buyer’s market: in an effort to boost retail sales stores will offer a whole lot– and for a lot less money.
To kick off the shopping season, I’m hosting a live webcast today at 2pm. I’ll share some good rules of thumb for shopping, and will give advice on what to look for in 10 product categories, including stocking stuffers. I’ll come prepared with a list of specs you should never compromise on– not even in budget products– as well as top picks and hot deals. You? Tune in, and come with questions about products you’re in the market for. You can submit questions here or in the comments section of this post.
Watch the recorded webcast below.
