It runs the latest version of Android so Dad can get access to all the apps and features in Android Market. One of the coolest features; the Genius button that replaces the standard Android search with voice-powered search, so the next time he needs to search for the nearest gas station he can just say find a gas station, and it will.

Sprint HTC Evo 4G
