While it goes against the budget-minded ethos of most Chromebooks, the $1,299 Chromebook Pixel has a sky-high resolution of 2560 x 1700 on its 12.85-inch touchscreen display, and a body to match. Despite running Google’s low-demand Chome OS, the Pixel packs a powerful 1.8-GHz Intel Core i5 processor and Intel HD Graphics 4000. However, it lasted less than four hours on a charge.
