If you haven't heard of "Osmos HD," you're missing out on a beautiful and great-sounding diversion made by Hemisphere Games. Within the game, you are a galactic mote in peaceful outer space, and your ultimate goal is to use strategy to become the biggest mote in the universe. Each time you propel yourself toward other motes, you lose a bit of mass. You grow by absorbing nonantimatter motes smaller than you.
A recent update to Osmos HD enabled multiplayer mode, so you can compete with friends either locally or through Google Play Services, though it's limited to people on the same Wi-Fi network. With relaxing background music and slow-paced yet challenging gameplay over 72 levels, "Osmos HD" is a perfect way to spend 5 minutes or a few hours.
