If you’re going to show off a youtube client, show off Youtube Pro. It’s recent, and it’s pretty slick. The default youtube app is nothing more than a glorified link.

Of the apps mentioned I’ve only used Marathon (the first app I ever installed, had it on my old windows mobile, too) Facebook, and Accuweather (although somewhat redundant for those of us that have HTC Hub). I use Rhapsody for music (Zune doesn’t stream well) and I found Dictionary.com app handy for when I use a word in a sentence and someone asks: what does that mean. Throw my phone and say, “look up”. there’s also a “google maps” app gMaps that isn’t too bad, but the it’s ad supported unless you buy.
other apps I’ve used, Adobe Reader (wish FoxIt was available), Soduku (Microsoft Games– never played before), the HTC ones, especially attentive phone: flip for speaker works 99% of the time.
Also don’t forget that your “‘Me” tile has a “check in” function. And the search function to for text/barcodes and the search function for music identification (works very well for me)

I love getting all sorts of news from all perspective from U.S. news to news from all around the world. Everything from cooking to music to getting just microsoft news to politics, religion, and the list goes on and on. Hands down the best app i ever come across for news.

Spotify… seriously? That app is horrible. I love the service but the app is very weak and the sole reason I do not pay for the Spotify service. Rdio is a way better app, although not perfect, either. And the facebook app is actually pretty weak, too.
