The upcoming ExoPC may be the machine that proves Windows 7 can be a good tablet OS after all. This 11.6-inch tablet boasts a 1366 x 768 capacitive touch display and is powered by the Intel Atom N450 (netbook) CPU. So you should expect relatively snappy performance but only 5 hours of battery life. Other specs include 2GB of RAM, a 32GB or 64GB SSD, a front-facing Webcam, an SD card reader, and USB port. The custom UI sports tiny discs that serve as shortcuts to subscreens or folders or to apps themselves. The interface supports multi-touch gestures such as pinch-to-zoom so you can enlarge or shrink the home page or subfolder pages as well. This 2.1 pound, 11.6 x 7.7 x 0.5 inch is heavier than an iPad, but it certainly packs more punch.
