An affordable ultraportable, the HP Pavilion dm1 weighs just 3.5 pounds, but it sports an innovative soft-touch Imprint finish, with the design printed into the rubber so it won’t wear off with use. Starting at $399 ($479 as reviewed), the laptop features an 11.6-inch, 1366 x 768 display and up to 8GB of RAM.
Consumers will be able to choose from either an AMD Fusion processor or an Intel Core i3 CPU—the latter of which will include an external optical drive. HP’s Premier Experience software improvements includes the Launch Box, which provides shortcuts to applications via icons in the taskbar.

I wonder why they keep on posting the mac air as notebook when its only a netbook. Intel atom powered made from surplus pc discarded parts and made by a third class China factory then sold by Steve Jobs at 1000% premium.
No wonder he didn’t live long to benefit from his lies.
And good for America never to stand again on its feet for selling lies.

Great list, I agree with most of it, however, there is a mistake. The X1 is 0.84 inches at its thickest point, not its thinnest. Its thinnest point is 0.65 inches thick.

Dell has horrible customer service. I received a laptop today that had some software issues. They treated me so poorly that I returned the entire order!
