There is something oddly addictive about wielding a finger-sword on your screen to slash through produce of every imaginable juice, and watching their insides splatter on the wall like something out of a mass murder crime scene. Fruit Ninja
is one of those novelty games that never gets old, despite having no discernible storyline. Just don’t touch any of those bombs though, or it’s game over! Different dojo backgrounds, blade types and three game modes provide enough diversity to let you mix it up, and there’s even multiplayer capability to go all samurai on fruit with nearby strangers. But our favorite is Zen mode, where you can slaughter fruit after fruit without the threat of any bombs—genuine peace of mind.
