Flying in the teeth of critics, Samsung set out to prove with the Galaxy Note II that you don't have to sacrifice a gigantic screen to achieve a slim, attractive form factor in a phone. As it turns out, Samsung was right. The Galaxy Note II features an even larger 5.5-inch display in a chassis thinner than the original, along with a quad-core processor and an updated S Pen.
