The Best 3 Things About The New BlackBerry App World 2.0
June 16th, 2010 by K. T. Bradford
1. Carrier billing. Users can still use PayPal, but now they have the option to bill a credit card or the carrier.
2. QR barcodes. True, this is a really geeky feature, but a great one nonetheless. It’s far easier to scan a barcode than type in a long URL.
3. My World will show more information about apps. This includes where an app is stored and which apps you’ve deleted.
Granted, these are the only 3 new things about App World revealed by Phone Scoop, but they are good news for BlackBerry users. When do these wondrous new features roll out? RIM didn’t give a release date. But it’s likely to be soon, as they have a new phone and (maybe) a new tablet to push, so a revised app store is a must.
