Samsung Galaxy Nexus may be the best Android smartphone. I haven’t tested it yet, though.

very glad to see the Razr M on this list; i happen to own it, but i noticed that it was one of 3, i think, on the list with a 4.3″ screen or smaller. having average size hands, i do like the option of going bigger if i need it (as evidenced by so many large phones on this list), but for practical every day, pulling-out-of-my-pocket many times a day, i think i’ll stick with 4.3″ for now. it seems to be the ideal size.

for the record, the Nexus 4 was built by LG not ASUS. The Nexus 7 is the one that is ASUS made. smh.

Thanks for the info…but could you also do one on cell phone etiquette when in public places? One of my pet peeves is the grocery store customer who cannot live without their cell phone in their ear. They get their groceries, trundle to the check out and switch over to audio brain cells only. The poor checker, after pointing to the check out screen and repeating the total not less than six times, is accused of getting snippy while the customers in line get upset and are telling their friends all about it…of course, using their cell phones.
Please explain that not all of us were born with a cell phone in one hand and a game controller in the other. Unless you have a family member in the icu, it should be considered rude to invite a person over for a visit and interrupt it constantly with texting and calls. If you cannot go on a trip without texting while driving, please, stay home. Nothing is more terrifying for a passenger than a driver texting while your life is their hands…they DO go off the road. You will not die if you do not read that text or answer that call…but chances are you will if you do.
Gone are the days of privacy that were there when only corded phones were available. The answering machine was a good improvement. But I am seriously beginning to doubt the absolute necessity of cell phones for all. Kids no longer talk to their parents, they text them. They do not talk to their friends, they text them. Our lives are now conducted in the air…through our cell phones. By doing so, we are loosing ourselves, our kids cannot relate, and ma bell is going belly up…Sometimes it is good to not hear the phone, or read a text. Sometimes it is good to connect without the technology.
