Testing WiMax / XOHM on the Nokia N810
April 1st, 2008 by Avram Piltch, LAPTOP Online Editorial Director
After attending a press event about the N810 WiMax Edition and watching Nokia demonstrate the tablet with Wi-Fi connectivity only, we were wondering when we’d get to try the WiMax connectivity in person. Fortunately, we got a chance this afternoon to connect the N810 to Sprint’s XOHM network and capture all the action on video. Unfortunately, we lost our connection in the middle of filming, but we’re confident that was just a fluke. In the clip below, Joanna shows how quickly video on YouTube plays on the N810.
