Testing TapRoot

Last week, we told you about TapRoot, the as-yet-unreleased mobile phone software that can turn your smart phone into a mobile hotspot. Today, we got a chance to see TapRoot in action at CTIA and, indeed, it seems to work pretty well, at least on the show floor. As you can see in the video below, the technology has a lot of potential. No word yet when or which mobile carriers will offer TapRoot on their phones.
