Tablets Find Home in New School Binder

When students head back to school this fall, they may be armed with a new book of sorts.
A company called ZooGue has just released its new BinderPad, an innovative case to carry a tablet (such as an iPad) while fitting it in with the rest of your papers. The BinderPad weighs just 3.5 ounces, and is only a half-inch thick with the iPad inside, which can be easily snapped into any three-ring binder.
Tim Angel, the 26-year-old CEO of ZooGue, is banking on the imminent demise of the textbook. “Textbooks suck,” Angel said in a prepared release. “They’re heavy, expensive and wasteful.”
