T-Mobile HTC Magic Wizards Its Way Through FCC

Mar 27, 2009 02:00 PM EDT by Todd Haselton

tmomagicAh, surprise surprise. T-Mobile got its feet wet with the G1 last year, and now the HTC Magic–which we originally saw at Mobile World Congress-is passing through the FCC cauldron with T-Mobile branding. The Magic also supports T-Mobile’s 3G network and offers a 5MP camera. It’s a lot thinner than the original G1, since it has a touch-screen keyboard and ditches the slide-out QWERTY design, and will likely be a bigger competitor to the iPhone than the original was. It might be too soon for an announcement at CTIA, but we’re all hopes. [via CellPhoneSignal.com]
