Sprint Offers Data, Voice, Whole Shebang for $99.99
February 28th, 2008 by Todd Haselton
Yeeehaaww! Looks like the cell phone carrier pricing wars have begun. This morning Sprint upped the ante by offering not just unlimited voice for $99.99, but also unlimited data, text, e-mail, web-surfing, Sprint TV, Sprint Music, GPS Navigation, Direct Connect, and Group connect all for $99.99.
The new option is available for all customers on its CDMA and iDEN networks. We assume the update includes smart phones as well, but stay tuned as we get a confirmation shortly.
Sprint’s “Simply Everything” plan will begin tomorrow, Friday February 29th, and is available to everyone currently on Sprint’s plan, as well as new subscribers. Any current Sprint customers will be able to sign up without extending their contract. Visit a Sprint Store or call customer service to do so.
If you’re on a family line, you can actually nab the “Simply Everything” plan with a $5 discount for each line you add. So two people could technically have Sprint’s new plan for a total of $194.99 as opposed to $199.99
There are also two smaller unlimited plans. One offers 900 minutes and unlimited data for $89.99, and the other offers 450 minutes for $69.99
AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless—prepare the battle stations.
Update: There is a $20 premium per line on BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) plans. Sprint’s new plan also does not cover Phone as Modem (PAM).

Is PAM included with the BES plan since it’s included with it regularly?

twitch3,
I imagine so since you’re paying the premium for BES and this shouldn’t effect other plans you’re already paying for.
