Splashtop Remote App Comes To Android – Access Your PC Everywhere

Last summer Splashtop introduced their Splashtop Remote app for iPad which allowed users full access to their computers from the tablet. This week they released a version for Android owners that does all the same stuff. You can log in to your home computer, pan and zoom around the desktop, use your programs , and even watch your videos. Yes, the sound does come through. The app works on both small and large screens. One fly in the ointment for some is that it only works with Android 2.2 and up. Yet another reason to bug certain companies about delivering those promised upgrades.
