Sony’s W Series Netbooks Caught on Japanese Video
July 7th, 2009 by Avram Piltch, LAPTOP Online Editorial Director
Sony’s new W Series line of netbooks was only announced hours ago, but already there’s already a video on Sony’s Japanese-language site, showing the premium-priced netbooks up-close. In the video, the new netbooks look pretty snazzy. The design has a Japanese-flair that seems anime-inspired. The pink W Series looks a bit like something one of the Sanrio characters would carry. Check out the video below and see if you agree. In our previous post, we asked whether the Sony style and expanded screen real estate justify the W Series’s premium price. Now that you’ve seen the video, what do you think? via Engadget
