Scosche kickBACK Gives The Apple iPad a Stand, Added Protection

You would think that a 10-inch multimedia-centric tablet would come with a built-in kickstand to prop the display into a prime viewing angle, but alas, the Apple iPad lacks such functionality. Fortunately, a third party has stepped up to supply what Apple has not. Scosche Industries has announced its first Apple iPad accessory, the kickBACK P. Not only does its patent-pending locking kickstand allow both horizontal and vertical viewing,  but the case itself is made of a shatterproof polycarbonate and rubber hybrid that cradles and protects the Apple iPad. Molded grips on the back of the kickBACK P enable a strong grasp, and a screen protector and cleaning cloth are included with purchase. The kickBACK P, like the Apple iPad, isn’t available for immediate purchase; it ships in early-mid spring at an undisclosed price.
