Video: Samsung Teases 7-inch Galaxy Tab Running Froyo
August 24th, 2010 by Dana Wollman Not content to unleash a family of Android-powered Galaxy smart phones across pretty much every major U.S. carrier, Samsung is getting ready to announce a 7-inch Galaxy tablet, aptly dubbed Galaxy Tab.
The tablet, whose design and specs will be announced in Berlin on September 2, makes a coy debut in this video on Samsung’s site. So far, we know that it will have a 7-inch screen, runs Android 2.2, has a camera for video chat, and “full web browsing,” which we’ll take to mean a WebKit browser supporting Flash.
Incidentally, barring any other product announcements between now and September 2, this will be the first Froyo tablet we’ve seen, so we’re pretty excited to learn more. Check out the teaser video below, and stay tuned– we’ll have more details then.
