Samsung Go Goes for Nearly 8.5 Hours
July 23rd, 2009 by Joanna Stern
Ready, set, go! At least that is what Samsung is hoping you’ll do.
Samsung has long been the leader in providing netbooks with extra long battery life and its new Samsung Go netbook continues to impress. As you will read in our hot off the presses review, the Go, which was orginally called the Samsung N310, is one of the most compact notebooks but also busts out some impressive battery life. On our LAPTOP Battery test (Web surfing via Wi-Fi) its super sized 6-cell, 8850 mAh battery lasted 8 hours and 23 minute. Though not quite as long as the Eee PC 1005HA (8:57) and Toshiba mini NB205 (9:24), the Go lasts as long as a good night’s sleep. Best part is that its battery isn’t annoyingly big either and the netbook itself is still one of the most compact on the market.
