We’ve seen countless photos claiming to be Samsung’s alleged Galaxy Note 3, but a new image provides some insight as to what may be inside the company’s next phablet. The reported prototype in the new photo matches the design language of previous leaks, although there’s no confirmation that this is in fact the Galaxy Note 3.
The pair of photos, which turned up on Chinese forum Weibo, shows a slot for the stylus, the elongated home button that has appeared on other Galaxy devices, and a slew of other internal components that can’t be made out in great detail. The prototype is believed to be an engineering unit and the source claims that a Samsung logo is present, although the branding has been censored from the image with a red sticker.
The alleged leak comes days after South Korean website MK News spilled the specs that are expected to come with the next Galaxy Note 3 device. According to the report, the phablet will come with a 5.7-inch display, LTE Advance and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. We’re skeptical on these rumors, however, considering reported leaks have conflicted in the past. Some rumors have suggested the Note 3 will come with a 6-inch display and Samsung’s octa-cote Exynos 5 processor while others have said Samsung will launch multiple variants of the Note 3 with different display sizes.
