Readers’ Choice: You Pick the Best Smartphone of 2011. Voting Ends 1/4/12 at 12:00 a.m. EST
After dozens of video calls and voice calls, roaming around town seeking the strongest signal, and late nights watching the battery test run on the latest smartphones, we finally made our picks for the Best Smartphones of 2011. And while we believe these are the top smartphones available today, we want to hear from you to determine an ultimate winner.
Apple maintained and strengthened their popularity in the smartphone world this year with the introduction of the Siri-toting iPhone 4S, which is available on three carriers. And each one of them is a winner. Google’s flagship was not to be upstaged, however.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus runs the search giant’s new Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Or there’s the out of this world options of the Samsung Galaxy S II, which is also on three carriers, and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus S 4G with NFC built in. The HTC Amaze 4G lived up to its name, and the Motorola Droid Bionic refused to be ignored thanks to its laptop dock accessory. And last, but not least, the super-slim Motorola Droid RAZR shredded the competition to come out a big winner. But how big a winner only you can say.
The smartphone category certainly was an exciting bed of innovation this year, but which one of these deserves the crown for Best Smartphone of 2011? You tell us. This poll will be open till next week, ending on Wednesday, January 4th at 3:00 p.m. EST.
