Poll: Would You Dump AT&T to Nab Verizon iPhone?
Verizon Wireless is getting the iPhone in 2010. Or at least this rumor is getting closer to reality. Today we’re hearing from USA Today that Apple and Verizon Wireless are discussing the development of an iPhone for the nation’s largest wireless network. The paper is reporting that this would be a CDMA device, but like Om Malik I believe that it makes more sense for this iPhone to rock LTE. VZW is pouring a lot of money into its 4G rollout, and the timing is in sync with the carrier’s plans. Given all the issues AT&T iPhone owners have had with its 3G network, here’s the big question: Assuming it was a new device with new features, would you jump ship from AT&T to Verizon to get a new iPhone?
