Retailer Apps
You trust your local brick-and-mortar store, and sometimes you just need to see a product in person. But that doesn’t mean you can’t supplement the in-store holiday shopping experience with a mobile app to gather even more information, such as product reviews. The special deals and on-the-go shopping options that often come from these apps don’t hurt either.
Amazon Mobile
Android, iOS
Search the mega e-retailer’s selection with Amazon Mobile, which also offers product price comparison with thousands of retailers. The Snap It feature lets you take a photo of a product to search for it, and you get access to Amazon’s one-click purchasing. Plus, Amazon Prime members can still enjoy free two-day shipping.
Best Buy
Android, iOS
Offering access to the retailer’s entire catalog, the Best Buy app makes it easy to browse for tech products while you’re on the go. Users can read reviews, compare product specs, and earn points through the store’s Reward Zones program. Best of all, you can make purchases directly through the app.
Newegg
Android, iOS
The shopping site for tech junkies lets you search by category and provides customer reviews and detailed spec information via its free app. Advanced search and guided search options are also available. On the savings side, the Newegg app includes Shell Shocker deals, daily deals, and other special offers.
Target
Android, iOS
Shop Target.com, scan barcodes, and find daily and weekly deals through the retailer’s app for Android and iOS. Users can also check product availability, search for nearby stores, and set up text alerts for discounts.
Walmart
Android, iOS
It’s straightforward and simple: Walmart’s mobile app lets you find the products you’re searching for, along with the nearest store locations. Users can browse products by rating and best-sellers,as well as search Rollbacks, a.k.a. special limited-time deals.

Ignoring the WindowsPhone Apps as usual I see.. I know there’s not a lot of people using them YET, but give us some love so others might investigate the underrated Phone OS.
