Rugged convertible PCs keep evolving, just like the rest of the tech world. Like the PeeWee PC Pivot Tablet before it, the Windows 7 PeeWee Pivot 2.0 allows your child the artistic fun of a tablet without the worry of utter destruction. This new model weighs 3.7 pounds and sports an Intel Atom N450 processor. For $599, it features a 10.1-inch resistive touchscreen with stylus, a webcam, and a water-resistant keyboard. And for those grubby little fingers it offers rubber slip-resistant grips. The Pivot 2.0 appears to be a rebranded Intel Classmate PC, which comes with 15 educational games, and two security software suites that let parents block inappropriate sites, take screen shots, check browsing history, control the laptop remotely, and limit how much time your children spend online. PeeWee PC also offers a one-year warranty with lifetime support.
