Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus Reviewed, Now Available on Verizon

Palm’s Pre Plus and Pixi Plus phones are ready to show Verizon Wireless customers some webOS love starting today, but how good are they? The Pre Plus has double the storage space (16GB) and RAM for the same price as the original Pre ($149). The Pixi Plus, an update of the Pixi, now has Wi-Fi and debuts on Verizon for $99.99. Both devices have the ability to be used as mobile hotspot using a new app. It’s essentially data tethering for up to 5 devices at once. Verizon charges $40 a month for this service on top of the $29.99 monthly data plan for the phone itself.
