There's nothing new on Earth! Look at 12 years old Toshiba Libretto 20 (http://www.toshiba.co.jp/about/press/1996_04/pr1701.htm). It had a footprint as a letter envelope. Yeah, much thicker, one inch and a third. I hope Vaio-Pee will be thinner by half.

The resolution is really nice. I like to see photos and sometimes movies on my Pocket LOOX's VGA screen. But what about software? Many applications and many web sites, you know, are created in assumption that there's just about 100 dots per inch on the screen. They would be looked very confusing on the Vaio-Pee screen with its 220 dpi! Sony would make two hardware-selectable resolutions, indeed. (At least they did it on its AR-series dreadnoughts!) Something like 1000x480 or 800x384 would be nice.

By the way, a touchscreen would be appreciated.

The resolution is right...only the image given above is wrong. Apparently its a small-long netbook. That way, at least we'll have a full keyboard.

Sony is planning to push another aspect ratio "2.39:1" with an AMOLED display?
The film Gladiator looks amazing in this notebook-netbook-MID-UMPC...whatever.
