OQO Model 2+ To Be Unveiled at CES
December 30th, 2008 by Joanna Stern
Here is an announcement to get us excited about CES. OQO will launch an update to its UMPC (now more popularly called called MID) in Las Vegas next week. Leaked in an invitation to the Pepcom press event, which was then posted by GottaBeMobile, the Model 2+ will sport not only a new OLED display (the first PC to have one), embedded touchscreen, and 3G internet, but as predicted it give up its previous VIA processor for a 1.86 GHz Intel Atom processor. We can’t say much more about the new OQO at this point (embargos!), but check back on the night of January 6 as we give you our first impressions of the new sexy device.
