Novatel Announces Ovation MC935D USB Modem

Today, Novatel announced the Ovation MC935D, a slim USB modem. Ideal for business travelers who frequent Europe, it’s optimized for European HSPA networks with single-band 2100-MHz operation. Right now, no carriers have been announced in the U.S. or elsewhere. The MC935D boasts peak download speeds of 7.2 Mbps and peak upload speeds of 5.76 Mbps. There’s no software disc; it’s all stored on board, which makes the installation and setup process smoother. No word yet on pricing and availability; both will depend on the carrier(s), which hasn’t been announced yet.
