No April Fools: Opera Mini Approved for iPhone App Store
April 12th, 2010 by Mark Spoonauer, LAPTOP Editor in Chief
This is not a joke. Opera Mini for iPhone has just been approved for the App Store, and users should start seeing it within the next 24 hours. We gave this browser our Best of CTIA award because it’s the perfect backup for those times when you can’t enjoy full 3G speeds (ahem). We also like the way it handles tabs. This is also huge news because many believed that Apple would not approve this app since one could argue it duplicates the functionality of Android. Stay tuned for a full review.
