Newest Netbook OS Trend: Android

Not content with running one of the many different distros of Linux, Windows Vista or 7, or even Mac OS X on a netbook, enterprising modders have now turned to putting Android on the mini-notebooks. Despite a few bumps in the road getting the sound and networking running correctly, the folks over at VentureBeat report that the OS works just fine an an Eee PC 1000H.
And now YouTube user newsandroids has a video of Android running on an HP 2133:
It looks like a pretty simple process — just boot the OS from a flash drive. Then you can try it out on any number of netbooks just lying around the office…
