Newest Hackintosh: OLPC XO
January 7th, 2009 by K. T. Bradford
OLPC News forum members are just as hack and mod-inclined as other netbook enthusiast communities. They’ve figured out how to get Mac OS 9 on the XO — it requires Ubuntu and an emulator, but no one ever said hackintoshing was easy.
Getting OS 9 on the XO is part of the ongoing effort of community members to widen the number of adult OS options for the kid-friendly netbook. It looks like several people have successfully loaded Fedora and DebXO along with the Teapots Ubuntu distro.
