myTouch 3G Review: T-Mobile’s Sexier Android Phone

mytouch3gimage1T-Mobile’s myTouch 3G units should be shipping out to T-Mobile customers that pre-ordered the phone. But before you buy, you might want to check out our full review of the phone, which we just published. It’s our favorite Android device yet, and while that’s not saying much considering there are only two on the market, we think first-time smart phone owners will dig its slim and curved form factor and its tight integration with Google. The myTouch 3G is much thinner than the G1, but you’ll have to give up the G1′s spacious keyboard for the myTouch 3G’s on-screen one, which could take some time getting used to since it’s a bit cramped. There’s a lot to love about the myTouch 3G, though. It has a very responsive touch screen, a fast and solid Web browser, and plenty of customization options. Head on over to the full review for in-depth analysis.

    Headphone jack.

    It’s a nice invention circa 1983.

My iPhone and Blackberry have it. My $20 MP3 player has it.

This myTouch does not. Bad move.
