MSI X600 Reviewed: Lightest 15-incher, Light on Power

We spent the weekend testing out the new MSI X600 notebook and have just posted our full review. At 4.8 pounds and 0.98-inches thick, the X600 might be the thinnest, lightest 15-incher on the market. In combining an Intel Ultra Low Voltage CPU with ATI Radeon HD 4330 discrete graphics, MSI has broken new ground. And the system’s 4 hour and 11 minute battery life is solid for a system this size.
That said, we found the notebook also had some drawbacks. In our tests, the Core 2 Solo CPU returned weak performance numbers, the touchpad got pretty hot, and DVD playback (using the bundled external optical drive) was a bit grainy. Is the notebook worth its $799 price tag ? Check out our full review of the MSI X600 and decide for yourself.

No, in my opinion this laptop is not worth its price.
