Today at CES 2011, two communications powerhouses combined to create the Droid Bionic smart phone. Announced by Motorola, the Bionic will boast the unprecedented power of a dual core CPU, each core humming at a blazing 1GHz. The big 4.3-inch handset will also rocket along on Verizon’s lightning fast 4G LTE network.
Also included in the Bionic’s impressive arsenal is 512MB of RAM, plus two cameras, one main 8MP shooter and the other a VGA resolution front-facing device for video chat. Motorola touts the phones’s 4.3-inch qHD screen as being sharp enough for HD content. There’s even an included HDMI port which lets the Bionic output 1080p video to HDTVs.
