Motorola Droid Shadow Scooped Up at Verizon Corporate Gym
May 26th, 2010 by Marc Flores
Leaving unreleased and upcoming phones unattended in public places seems to be all the rage these days, and Verizon and Motorola weren’t going to miss out on all the fun. The Motorola Droid’s successor, the Droid Shadow, was found at a Verizon corporate gym by a gym employee. The finder, probably not all that tech savvy, confirmed that the pictured device is unreleased via a text message before the phone was remotely locked.
Apparently, a few details were gleaned before the device was picked up: 16GB of internal memory, 8 megapixel camera, Snapdragon processor, a 4.3″ screen like the Evo 4G and it will be running Android 2.2., also known as Froyo. Some joke and argue that this was intentionally lost to build a little hype for the upcoming device. Whether it’s true or not, we are happy to see the direction that Android devices are taking. Bigger and better screens, more power and more speed.
