Moblin Alpha Works Well on the Samsung NC10

We’re happy to report that the mobile Linux platform Moblin works just fine on the Samsung NC10 and, despite being run off of a LiveUSB key at the moment, boots up pretty fast. Both the WiFi and the LAN worked for us with ease (thanks to the connection manager). The trackpad and external mouse (Kensington SlimBlade with nano receiver, if you’re interested) both worked without any tweaks. As Joanna mentioned earlier, the OS is pretty bare bones at the moment, but the UI has some really nice touches. Check out our first look hands-on video below.
