of course, thats exactly why people still use pirated windows. they should have given the home at around 70 and professional at a maximum of 150.

BUT COmparing to apple is ridiculous. You first have to own a mac, which is so expensive.

If you had any common sense, you would understand it is better to buy a cheap Dell with 3 years warranty + Windows 7. Its so much more worth the money than buying a sucky Apple who always fail trying to monopolize!

I'd rather buy a Lenovo S10. Try out Windows 7 on Release Candidate for almost a year, and If I like buy the retail. If not satisfied with the speed and smoothness, then switch back to XP!

Apple makes their money on hardware.

Microsoft makes their money on software.

Enuf said.

AND you can get lower prices on Windows 7 if you buy now. Available on Amazon.com as we speak. Quantities are limited apparently. You can get Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade right now for $49, which is very cheap.

This is absolutely ridiculous...what a bunch of greedy moronic a-holes....this is why they will go into over drive to crack this software.

This is why the country is a mess, these greedy no good rotten morons put out vista, when they knew it was not ready and now they are trying to force this on us, saying this is what vista should of been and we want you to pay for Vista, and then pay to get 7.

I will get the cracked version and I will have no problems putting it on my machine....Microsoft can go screw themselves.....when does it end....who did they focus test to think this is a good idea? Are they nuts?

Well, no, we're not "satisfied" with the pricing, but the comparison to Apple is a joke. In order to get the upgrade price for a Mac, you have to own one, and that would require a two to three times greater investment in my computer(s)... no thanks.
