Microsoft Announces Partnership With Facebook, Dell
January 7th, 2009 by Todd Haselton Steve Ballmer just announced a new partnership between Microsoft and Facebook. Any photos or updates made on Facebook or the Windows Live network will be published to the other social network, if you configure it that way. Also, Windows Live Essentials is now available for a worldwide download. It includes Windows Live Messenger, Mail, and photo gallery.
He also announced a new partnership with Dell, which will now preinstall Windows Live essentials and Live Search on all consumer and small business PCs worldwide. Dell is the first major maker to preinstall Windows Live Essentials on all of their PCs.
