Michael Dell says Streak (formerly Mini 5) will be available in June

The long awaited Dell Mini 5, now called Streak, has been teased by CEO Michael Dell and he says it’s coming in June. That’s just one month away! The 5-inch monster of an Android device will run the latest version of Google’s mobile software and has everything you’d expect from a cell phone even though Dell calls it a Mobile Internet Device. The Streak features a 5 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and the giant capacitive touchscreen is at a respectable resolution of 800 x 480.

We’re pretty excited about this handset, although we still have our reservations about its size and whether it will be cumbersome or not. It will be available on O2 Telefonica in Europe next month (those lucky Europeans seem to get everything first!) and then later this summer it should land at AT&T. Click here to see the hands-on we did with the Streak back at CES.
