LG is pushing the limits of thin-and-light with its P210 and P420 models. The P210 boasts a 12.5-inch LCD display—a rarity for the lightweight category—and a super-small bezel that complements its svelte design. At 2.8 pounds, it’s hardly hefty either.
The P210’s specs make this machine look even more promising: There’s a 1.33-GHz Intel Core i5 470UM CPU, 4GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive. Graphics on the P210 are limited to Intel’s HD integrated graphics, though the P420 will have an Nvidia GeForce GT520M graphics card.
The P420 will sport a larger 14-inch screen and hold up to 8GB of memory. According to LG, the P210 model won an International Forum Design Award for its extra-sleek profile. The notebook is priced at $1,135, though it’s currently only set to debut in Korea. (No word on pricing for the P420.)
