Let LAPTOP Give You a Mobile Makeover

We’re currently looking for a LAPTOP reader to participate in our new Mobile Makeover Web series.  For the upcoming Mobile Makeover, we’re seeking a New York-area mobile professional or college student with a working 2 to 4 year-old PC laptop that could use an upgrade.

You must be willing to let us film you talking about your laptop and allow us to modify and upgrade your computer as necessary. There’s no cost to you other than time and you’ll get an upgraded laptop. Past Mobile Makeover laptops have received a new The storage device that holds your OS, programs, and data.
Learn Morehard drive and additional RAM, among other things.

If your PC laptop is a good candidate for our upcoming student Mobile Makeover and you’re located in the New York City area, drop us a line at mobilemakeover@bedfordmags.com with the following:

1. Your name and contact information.
2. Make and model of your notebook and any specs you can share (no Macs please).
3. History of the notebook – how long you had it, what you paid for it, etc.
4. What tasks you use your notebook for (school, work, gaming, etc) now.
5. What tasks you would like to use your notebook for, but can’t because it’s too slow.
6. Any information about yourself you feel is relevant or interesting for this project.

Please note that you must be willing and available to appear on camera and talk about your PC laptop. Currently, we are only seeking people located in the New York City area.
