Lenovo S10 Live Webcast: Monday @3PM (EST)
September 26th, 2008 by Meghan J. McDonough
We’ve spent a lot of time the past couple of days getting to know the Lenovo IdeaPad S10 ($349.97) netbook. We’ve put it through our battery of tests, upgraded the RAM, and switched out the hard drive for a solid state drive.
This Monday, it’s your turn to go almost hands-on with the S10. We’re heading back into LAPTOP Studios to answer your questions about the latest mini-notebook to hit the street. Like our previous webcast on the Dell Inspiron Mini 9, we’ll have call-in guests and see how it stacks up to other netbooks in this increasingly crowded field.
Tune into http://www.laptopmag.com/webcast/ on Monday at 3 p.m. (EST) and join the chat!

Good! My only question is, can you read the screen outdoors, or how does the screens brightness compare to some other netbooks?
I orderer a red one and would cancel before another T61 dull screen $1,000 mistake if I can do better!

I am very curious as to how the displays compare – the 10.2″ S-10 versus the Aspire One, and the other Netbooks you have – especially doing text. There has been a lot of attention to the keyboards but very little quantitative info on the screens. Is the 10″ screen on the S10 better than the Aspire One.
Thanks!
